Plamea Hvar is about connection: to nature, to people, and to yourself.
We invite you to explore with care, travel lightly, and rediscover what adventure truly means.
Embracing Sustainable Tourism Activities on Hvar
When we first set foot on Hvar, we didn’t come here to build a business.
We came because we fell in love: with the scent of wild herbs after the rain, the light on the stone villages, and that sense of stillness you only find when you wander off the main road.
Over the years, we’ve travelled more than 20,000 kilometers across the Balkans and beyond: always curious, always searching for places that still feel real. That’s what we bring into Plamea Hvar: experiences we’ve lived ourselves, created for small groups, and crafted together with people we know and trust.
This is not mass tourism: it’s a slower, more personal way to explore the island through food, nature, and connection.

Farming with Intention: From Soil to Soul
Our farm, Plamea Hvar, grew from a simple idea: to restore the land and share what grows naturally here.
We work with wild herbs, olives, fruits, organic vegetables, creating products like artisan vinegars, olive oil, and herbal infusions, all made in small batches by hand.
When guests join us on the farm, they don’t just watch: they take part.
They walk through the garden, learn about natural composting, taste fresh herbs straight from the earth, and see how regenerative farming brings life back into the soil.
It’s not about perfection: it’s about respect for cycles, patience, and care.

Hiking, Biking & Wild Corners of Hvar
Eastern Hvar is still wonderfully untamed: full of forgotten trails, dry-stone walls, and views that stop you mid-step.
We love taking guests to those corners that don’t show up on Instagram.
Our tours are small, personal, and flexible: we adjust to the group, the weather, and the energy of the day.
Every trail tells a story: wild mint underfoot, the sound of cicadas, maybe a swim in a hidden cove at the end.
And we always combine local homemade food prepared by ourselves with these activities.
Tasting the Island: Farm to Table Moments
We believe food is the most beautiful way to connect. That’s why we host farm dinners, wild picnics, and tasting sessions under olive trees or by the sea. Everything comes from our land or from our friends: local fishermen, farmers, and winemakers who share the same philosophy.
Here, meals are slow and full of stories. You’ll taste things that grow only here: wild fennel, capers, figs, or a vinegar made from strawberry tree fruit. It’s not luxury in the traditional sense: it’s different luxury — real ingredients, real people, real places.
Supporting Local Hands & Hearts
For us, sustainable travel is also about community.
We collaborate only with local partners we know personally: artisans who distill lavender, women who make natural cosmetics, a, beekeepers, and small family winemakers that produce the best wine we could ever wish for.
When you join a Plamea experience, you’re directly supporting them too: every picnic, hike, or dinner is part of a living island network that keeps traditions alive.
